The main show – stopper at the Ford stand at Geneva will be the car B – Max, but also will participate some models which will be no less interesting novelties. In particular, Ford Corporation promises to show the serial version of the “Hot Hatch” Fiesta ST and the Kuga SUV for the European market.a
By the popular name of the Kuga in Europe will be a crossover Escape, which has been shown to the American public. The sales of Ford Kuga in Europe will begin later this year, and it is known that in order to expand the range of the potential buyers the crossover will be provided with new engines. Most likely, it is a cost – effective small – diesel.
According to the online edition Carscoop, the serial Fiesta ST will get to Geneva. The prototypes of the charged hatchback have been shown in the some previous international auto shows and the serial is going to be equipped with the 1.6 – liter Ecoboost turbo engine with the capacity of 180 horsepower. By the same engine is also equipped the concept version of the car. Let us add that the prototype of the Fiesta ST is available in both three – door and five – door version, but it is still unknown which will be chosen by the producers for the serial production.
They also say that in Geneva the Ford Corporation is able to demonstrate a sedan and a new generation of Mondeo, which has been already demonstrated in the U.S. under the name of Fusion, however, there is no confirmation for this information yet.
