The plan of the Chrysler Concern to produce a new generation of the legendary Dodge Viper is gradually becoming a reality: the SRT subdivision released the first teaser of the future supercar. Furthermore, it became known that the Viper will cease to position itself as the representative of the model range Dodge.
The teaser was published on the official sports division SRT on Facebook social network thanks to the 10 000 “Likes” from the fans of the company. However, the situation was not particularly clear: apparently the face of the legendary Viper will not be exposed to revolutionary changes.
But the name of the legend will be fundamentally new: during the planned re-branding Viper will cease to be a part of the Dodge brand and will completely come under the wing of the SRT, a subdivision of Chrysler, which specializes in “charging” the models of the Chrysler concern.
There is no specific information regarding the technical stuffing yet, but the most persistent rumors suggest, that the new Viper will receive all the same ten-monstrous “atmospheres”, slightly modernized by the help of the technology MultiAir.
It is expected that the official premiere of the new generation of the supercar will be held in April at the New York Auto Show.
