A surprise, which was prepared in strict confidence for the Geneva Auto Show by the Italians from Lamborghini, has ceased to be so, the web came images of the prototype of the supercar Aventador with an open top, the premiere of which the producers were going to organize at the international exhibition.
The management of the company Lamborghini long intrigued the audience, promising to show at the Swiss Auto Show something unheard of, but the members of the Czech portal Autoforum distributed through the network the first images of the premiere. However, according to the sources of the photos, Lamborghini Aventador J Speedster should not be considered a harbinger of the serial supercar with a folding roof – that will look a little differently and get the name of Aventador Roadster.
Sppedster generally is deprived of both a roof and a full front windshield – instead, the producers has set up a symbolic salute. On the other hand the supercar has received a developed aerodynamic body kit, the elements of which are painted in the black color. Probably, the modernization will also affect the interior of which in such cases, remove all superfluous for maximum savings of the weight.
Until now there are no data about what kind of power unit will receive Aventador J. Perhaps it will retain its full – time 700 – strong 12 – cylinder engine, but with equal probability we can assume that the Italian engineers will provide a prototype of a more powerful version of this engine.
