Following the supercar Ferrari F620, the first show of which is planned for tomorrow in a short time the world will see also the successor of the legendary hypercar Ferrari Enzo. According to some unconfirmed information, the car will be named Ferrari F70 which will be the most powerful of all serially produced Ferrari in the history of the Italian brand. Moreover Ferrari F70 will become also the first hybrid car of the Ferrari Company.


The chassis and the body of the car will be manufactured from composite materials that will keep its weight in the range of 1200 kg. In front of the rear axle will be placed twelve – cylinder, 7.3 – liter gasoline engine with 800 hp which will produce 120 – strong electric engine. Such a way, the total capacity of the hybrid power plant will make 920 hp, making the Ferrari F70 one of the most powerful modern supercars, produced a rather large series. There are, of course, more powerful cars also, but their distribution does not exceed the several tens of units, while Ferrari F70 will be made in the amount of four hundred copies.
The dynamic characteristics are not announced yet, but it is expected that they would be comparable to Bugatti Veyron. In other words the acceleration to the first hundreds will take approximately 2.5 seconds and the maximum speed will make 400 km / h. Also, the car will be equipped with the famous Formula 1 energy recovery system KERS, which is adapted for all the road cars of the Ferrari Company and has been doing for several years. The first Ferrari F70 should go on sale already this autumn, and the flagship of Ferrari will compete with the successor of McLaren F1, the development of which is in the full swing, and the Porsche 918.
